The EuroHPC's LUMI kick-off event in Belgium is an opportunity to discover the LUMI collaboration and the specification of the pre-exascale machine that will be installed in Kajaani, Finland and accessible to the Belgian user community by the end of 2021. It gathered the main Belgian stakeholders from the High Performance Computing (HPC) community: from scientific and industrial users to infrastructures  and technology suppliers, HPC enthusiasts and governmental officials, and contained exciting use cases, and provides us with lots of useful info on EU supercomputing (e.g., LUMI, and EuroCC). This online event has been taking place on Thursday, January 14th 2021.
